Here we are. One day until training camp starts! I just printed off my airplane ticket and am getting ready to be at the airport at 4 a.m. Friday morning. 

Words cannot express just how simultaneously nervous, excited, and ready for training camp I am feeling right now. My stomach is in knots, my mind is racing, my heart is pumping. Who knows what amazing and incredible things wait in front of me for this next week? And all of this is simply a shadow of what is to come when January finally rolls around!

I cannot wait see how God moves within us and around us during training and next year! It is my earnest and heartfelt prayer that He uses this and all of us to accomplish so many amazing things for His kingdom!

So for a week, I bid a fond farewell to everything I hold on to so tightly: my schedule, my routine, my bed, daily showers, the feeling of comfort that comes from embracing the familiar and the well-known. I joyfully step out of my comfort zone into a week of the unknown, looking toward a year of doing the same on a much bigger scale!
